Screen printing has always been a top class craft for me. During my studies, I mastered the art of creating prints with Photoshop, mastering the digitisation process, coating and exposing screens and decoating them skilfully. Perfecting the colour mix to stay true to the originals, mastering the screen printing technique and ensuring the prints were waterproof were all part of my repertoire.
During my internship semester, I was fully occupied with designing prints for the streetwear label Vertere Berlin. The screen printing room with its charming aesthetics and the soft shimmer of the red neon tubes captivated me. In fact, it became the showcase for my bachelor's collection, aptly named "ALIEN", as I spent a lot of time honing my craft within these very walls.
